C.T.F. Structural
C.T.F
Structural was introduced to the
industry as the latest addition
of the C.T.F Group in early 2007
to expand sales in modern and
innovative construction methods
now becoming popular in today’s
markets.
The use of lightweight
galvanised cold rolled steel
frame sections allows C.T.F Structural to offer
competitive fast track solutions
in many areas of modern
construction.
C.T.F
Structural systems can be used
in the following areas:·
Infill non-continuous
external walling
Continuous
external walling
Complete
stand alone structures
Floor beams
and ceiling joists
Full height
dividing walls
Load bearing
internal partition walls
Bespoke
solutions for specific problems
T he use of C.T.F Structural systems can
offer considerable advantages:
Easily
handled on site
-
Greater
control over on site quality
-
Sections
can be supplied cut to
length reducing waste
-
Easily
detailed to accommodate main
frame movement
C.T.F
Structural also supplies a full
range of external finishes,
cladding systems, insulations,
sheathing boards and fixing
systems to offer the complete
through wall solution.
Acoustic Performance
By
varying the layers and type of
internal plasterboard lining,
together with adding mineral
wool to the framing cavity, a
wide range of acoustic
performance can be achieved.
C.T.F
Structural works closely with
the industries plasterboard and
insulation manufacturers to
accommodate specific design
criteria in any given
situation.
Thermal
Insulation
C.T.F
Structural’s lightweight steel
frame systems readily embrace
the use of ‘Warm Frame’
technology in which all the
insulation is fixed to the
external face of the steel
framing, thus greatly reducing
or eliminating the risk of ‘cold
bridging’ and its associated
condensation problems.
This
externally applied insulation
can be in the form of insulated
renders, closed cell foil faced
rigid insulation or similar used
with facing brickwork or
cladding.
Components
All
C.T.F Structural Framing
components are formed from
galvanised steel strip.

Design
C.T.F
Structural offer full technical
design support from simple
infill sections to complete
stand alone structures working
closely with project architects
and engineers, all systems fully
checked and approved by external
fully Qualified Structural
Engineers.
